The last World Aviation Festival took place at the RAI Convention Centre Amsterdam, from Tuesday 4 to Thursday 6 October, 2022.

It was a must-attend event for leaders and executives of airlines and airports, as well as technology companies that are driving the industry forward with their latest innovations. So save the date and get ready to take flight!

Focus of the three-day digital world aviation event

In times of continued uncertainty for aviation and the tourism sector, leaders of airlines, airports, tech and industry start-ups gathered to explore how digital technologies are changing every aspect of the aviation industry to help enable a speedier and more sustainable recovery.

Over 5,000 global CEOs and executives were expected to attend the world’s most important aviation technology conference and exhibition in the Netherlands.

Andy Owen-Jones, BD4’s CEO, was also part of the festival’s excellent line-up of speakers. He talked about “Retelling Retailing – Adapting the art of digital retailing for the travel industry” on 6 October at 2.15pm in Hall 12 Track 7. We hope you haven’t missed it! But if… watch it now:
